I am an immigrant journalist in the United States of America and my greatest satisfaction in my work is the contact with the people. I am like any other immigrant. I fight every day to make the American dream, my dream. I have more than 25 years as a reporter and news anchor in Mexico and the United States.

I have covered all kinds of tragedies, from the explosions of April 22nd in Guadalajara to hurricanes like “Wilma” in Cancun, but what has marked my life are the stories of hundreds of immigrants who cross the border into the United States. I also had to narrate the rescue of the 33 miners in Chile, several armed uprisings and I am the author of the book “Los Nadien” and also of the series of mini-documentaries about immigrants, “El Sueño del Norte”
