Guillermo Ochoa is the news anchor for the morning newscasts Noticiero Telemundo 52 at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Telemundo 52 is Telemundo’s flagship West Coast television station, offering nearly 30 hours of news and local programming each week, more than any other Spanish-language station in Southern California, including breaking news coverage, up-to-the-minute weather forecasts and entertainment.
Prior to joining Telemundo 52 Los Angeles in 2018, Ochoa was the lead host of En Una Hora and Paralelo 23, two primetime newscasts on Televisa’s Foro TV, and host of Las Noticias, the morning news program on Las Estrellas.
Ochoa began working as a reporter for Grupo Mundo Ejecutivo. He later became editor-in-chief of magazines such as Mundo Ejecutivo and Golf Tournament & Resorts. His TV experience began in 2004 at Televisión Mexiquense, a state-owned television station in the State of Mexico. He was the host of a morning show called Te Levanta, and at the same time, he was the host of the channel’s morning newscast. Three years later, he became a correspondent for Univision’s local stations in the Mexico City office. In 2010 he became part of the team of journalists of Noticiero Televisa.
