Orlando Urdaneta is, in short, a creative being par excellence who has managed to develop his talent becoming one of the most prestigious figures in Venezuelan dramaturgy. Actor, animator, host, playwright and plastic artist has successfully taken advantage of all these facets of his personality, turning all media into his medium: cinema, radio, television, theater and his own plastic expression have been and continue to be the instruments that allow him to communicate with extraordinary mastery his innate qualities for the development of such varied activities.

Emblem of Venezuelan film production, he has worked with the most important directors of his country, giving life with great professionalism to all kinds of characters, from drama to comedy, managing to be the recipient of numerous awards. For his work he has received several awards such as the “Municipal de Teatro” in 1997, the following year he was awarded by “La Casa del Artista”, during the years 1998 and 1999 he received the “National Association of Cinematographic Artists” (ANAC) award for his participation in the Venezuelan films Pandemonium and 100 years of forgiveness.

He began his acting career by debuting in his childhood on RCTV’s “Bambilandia” and was later included in casts of plays, soap operas and motion pictures; he also stood out as an animator of contests and radio and television programs being a humorist.
